Evergreen Kishore Kumar

Remembering Kishore Kumar on his birthday
On 4th August  this year Kishore Kumar's 85th  birhday was celebrated. He died in 1987. Kishore Kumar was an institution in himself. There is no other singer, in Bollywood who  could match  Kishore Kumar's versality. He sang for almost all the stars and got several awards for singing. It is very difficult to select the best songs of Kishore Kumar. I have selected, some which are my favourite and some others, for which he got awards.  The first song is from the movie Aaradhana.

The  next song is from Amar Prem. Kishore Kumar's unique style is noticable in this song
The next choice is from  yaarana. Choo kar mere mann ko
The next in the list is  a song from Anand. Zindagi kaisi hai paheli
                                                                              '
The next song is from the movie Black Mail. Pal Pal dil ke paas

Now comes the ever green song of Kora Kaagaz. Mera jeewan kora kaagaz

Another romantic song, which was my favorite when the film Kudrat was released. Hamen tumse pyar kitna, yeh hum nahin jaante, magar jee nahin sakte tumhare bina

And now comes the last from the movie  Julie.Dil kya kare jab kisi ko kisi se pyar ho jaaye

I hope you have also liked my choice. Which ones do like?

  3. Kishore Kumar is a legend. He was so versatile, he was playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, screenwriter and scriptwriter. I love his almost all songs especially those that were sung for Rajesh Khanna. And 'Pal pal dil ke paas' from the clips is my absolute favorite!
