storm

                                                        Trees, birds silent
                                   river hushed, animals reticient   
                                                  lull before storm. 
                                            A hurricane
                                  commotion on the streets
                                          created clamour.
                                           Summer storms
                                     whole house full of dust
                                        cleaning daily routine
Written for Haiku Horizons weekly prompt 'storm'.

    It is weird how there is usually a calm before a big storm...it is eerie. Loved the haiku!
