Zindagi na milegi dobara.

From my archives, I  have selected  this post, which was  the last post  of my entry for A to Z of 2014

At last we have come to the end of the journey. We have all moved together on this marathon for one month. On this day of parting let us say good bye .Will meet  again-----

Z is the title for todays' A 2 Zers. The festival for today is Zanskar. This festival is celebrated in Leh   and   Ladakh. It is a  Buddhist festival. I am  presenting a video recording of the festival, which attracts tourists from  all over the country and abroad. The Zanskar festival fair  attracts  visitors from far and wide. The people sing and dance merrily expressing tolerance  and  thanking God for giving  plenty,

Nature based or Harvest based festivals give us an opportunity to understand nature. We come to know how nature is nurturing us  by providing joy of appreciating the goodies, that mother earth gives us.

National festivals  enthuses in us a spirit of patriotism and love for the motherland. Something as grand as Republic Day Parade is bound to arouse  a spirit of pride for the country.

We must imbibe  in everyone  a feeling of love and pride for our country. We have got this precious life to celebrate all festivals with joy and a spirit of camaraderie.Live and enjoy as if we will not get another chance, another time, another moment and another LIFE.

  19. I had never heard of Zanskar festival before, thank you for sharing the video. Festivals are an inherent part of our culture and it's so nice to see when someone appreciates them for all their essence. Well done on completing the challenge and though I am new here, but I can still say, your series should make for a great literary treat. :)
