A bitter truth

Rajesh,a teacher in Municipal school was a very well behaved boy. He was an orphan. He spent his childhood in an orphanage. Many times he asked the matron how he came there, whether there was any record of his admission to the 'home'. He  never got any clue about his birth  or about his background. He was very gentle and well mannered. From his looks and action he seemed to belong to a good family. He had no friends in the 'home'. He was a bright student. In his Sr. Sec. exam he obtained 94 % marks. His dream was to appear for Civil Services Exam but the orphanage rules were such that he could appear for a teaching job.
The day his result came, he bought sweets for the matron and other staff of the  orphanage. When he reached the office, he saw a middle age lady sitting there. She looked  very sophisticated. As soon as he entered, that lady got up. The others also followed.  The matron held his hand and said,''Rajesh, this lady is your Mother.'' Rajesh was dumb struck.  Suddenly he shrieked, ''Mother!! How  and from where Mother has appeared! No, No No, I don't have any mother.'' The lady came near him and was about to hug him. He moved back  and shouted,''Don't  come near me. Where were you when your child was all alone on those dreary nights  craving for mother's warmth.'' he just moved away from there. The mother stood there like a statue!
