Apology

                           word87
Mahesh was a spoilt  child  since childhood .He  was the only son  of  Mr. and Mrs.Seth,  a rich business man.  Whatever he wanted, he got it.Whether the demand was justified or not, his parents did not dare to refuse.  if  the demand was not fulfilled he threw tantrums and the parents did not have the heart to refuse. In school also he used these tactics and the teachers happily agreed to fulfill  his demands. As he grew his undue demands also increased. He was twenty when his father died. Mahesh did not know any thing about his father's  business. The manager was entrusted to look after the business. The  manager looked after his own interest. Slowly the business was declared bankrupt, The house had to be sold to settle all expenses.Mahesh saw all this, but his habits did not change. Now he even became a drunkard. His mother was extremely worried about him, but did not have the courage to tell him any thing. One evening when she was lost in  thoughts a young girl rushed inside and fell on her feet. ''Save me from this devil..'' Mahesh entered behind her full of rage. His mother shouted at him and told him to apologise,Mahesh was like a wild animal and pulled the girl. This was the limit. She got up, opened the almirah. Mahesh was wondering what  she was going to do. Suddenly Mrs. Seth took out a revolver and within a second thought fired Mahesh. In an instant he fell down,''Mom I am very sorry. I have always troubled you. Apologise me Mom.'' He was removed to a Nursing Home. The bullet had pierced only superficially and was taken out without any difficulty.  The good old days came back.
