Summer Heat

The acute summer this year is agonising. Imagine two days ago the temperature rose to 48  0 C .  Here is a nonet  depicting  the feelings of an ordinary person.

                 Summer
             summer  sun
             blazing,fiery,burning.
             Men, animals, birds plants
            craving, yearning longing for water
.Depleted are  streams  canals and rivers
no trace of   thundering outburst dark clouds
Craze for cold drinks, colas, juices and icecream
load shedding adds to agony, woe, pain and anguish
