We use milk for drinking, preparing desserts and ,adding it to tea or coffee.There are many more way in which we can utilise milk.I am jotting down 12 ways to use milk
1.Use milk to marinate fish. To make frozen fish more yummy, soak frozen fish in milk in a bowl, till the fish is well thawed. Now cook it. The taste is heavenly.
2.Soften your skin: In your water for bath, add one litre of milk in a bucket. The skin will look tender and will be as soft as a skin of a baby.
3 Stain of milk..Rub milk and lemon juice on the cloth to remove the ink stain. Keep it over night.Then wash it the next morning. The stains will disappear.
4.Getting rid of bed bug: Prepare a solution of water, milk and salt. Rub it on the sting. It may sting for a little while and then disappear completely.
5 Shine your leather shoes. Take an old clean piece of cloth and dip it in milk. The shoe will shine instantly. It can be used to clean other leather items.
6.Shine your silverware Soak silverware in a bowl of milk for 30 minutes. Then wash it softly with hot water and soap. Dry it with a clean cloth. It will shine like new silverware.
7. Improve the taste of corn Boil water and milk in a pot. and add corn to it and boil till the corn is cooked. It will taste very yummy.
8.For better health of your garden Pour equal quantities of milk and water in a funnel. Pour it on the plants in garden/roof. The plants will get a new life.
9.Clean your furniture:In a bowl of milk, squeeze lemon juice and clean your furniture. It will get a great gleam.
10.Cleaning indoor plants To clean your indoor plants, soak a cloth in skimmed milk and wipe the dust from the leaves. Then dry the leaves with another cloth.It will give them a new lease .
11.Cracks on china dishes Put the cracked china and porcelain dishes in a big pot,add two cups or more milk and boil it for one hour on slow heat. Then wash in plain water and dry them. Crack marks will not be visible.
12.Get rid of sun burns Mix milk with a bit of water and smear on the painful area.For burns that cover large areas, a good idea is to soak your clothes in a mixture of milk and water and wear them for faster healing of the skin.
