While in grief, we know,
what is happiness, brightness content ,joy
Good times will follow soon.
suffering of a beloved
fills the heart with grief, and sorrow,
cant be expressed in words.
Naked foliage is nature's grief
dried leaves spread like worn out carpet.
Spring will bring new cheer.
Prompted by Carpe Diem daily Haiku # 553 Grief
A wonderful response to the prompt - both grief *and* hope. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Blog it or lose it.
DeleteThis is a lovely post, I especially like the last haiku of the series! I think you should share it again on the Carpe Diem linky ... when I tried to click to your post I was advised that the post has gotten lost and it's a shame more cannot read it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Georgia Koch for such sweet words of appreciation.
DeleteBTW, when I tried to share it again, the linky did not accept it. Thanks for the concern you showed!
You seem to be brilliant at haiku Usha. I'm truly impressed! Is that your first love...of poetry that is? ;) <3
