SUBLIME

Sublime – the very thought of it sends a wave of divine current through us. What else can be written about other than  sublimity.  Sublimity is that nature of human beings that without its presence,  life will be shorn  off splendour and glory. Infact, a sublime person is an agent of God. A representive  of all that is great and noble. Sublimity is a divine virtue. How many people of sublime nature  do we come across in everyday life? Very few indeed! Sublime persons exude divinity and  infact their personality  oozes out sublimity. Besides, sublimity  is the  hallmark of our faiths and religion. Take for example the picture of the meditating Buddha.
                                         Buddha, Meditation, East, Eastern

What a grace and sublimity  radiates from his face! All our great saints and seers had this quality in  them. Adi Shankaracharaya is a case in point. He had conquered all negativity  and possessed  a calm and cool   personality. During his time,it is believed that by that by his virtue,he re-estalished Hinduism.

Then the question arises how can we be sublime? Cultivating  a virtue in life is not easy. Persistance and persipicapity are the need to cultivate vigil and alacrity which pave  the  way for subime nature.  It shall be our endeavour to cultivate this divine quality against all odds.

  5. It's like a spiritual reading of "to be great, you have to give up being good" which was advice given to me years ago as a way to motivate me out of my comfort zone.
