Who does not like a hot cup of tea!! A hot cup of tea is refreshing and invigorating ! There is no fixed time to take tea. Any time is tea time. Immediately after we get up in the morning, we feel the need for a cup of tea. My husband takes two cups! If there is slight delay in laying breakfast, there will be a demand for another cup!! Come 11 am, and the tea tray is on our tea trolley. The timings are perfect.. In winter, even two cups are welcome. 4'0 clock is tea time, and before dinner one more cup can be had.Over and above, if some guests visit, tea is taken to give company to them. It is one of the pleasures of retired life, to take as much tea as you want.
The method of making tea is an art. We don't like the tea which is made by boiling water, milk and sugar together. We like either tea bags, or tea made by boiling water separately.. Tea leaves are put in a tea pot, and boiling water is added to it. It must be allowed to brew for about two minutes. Milk and sugar are kept in separate pots. The flavour of tea prepared in this method is heavenly. 'If tea is served properly, the taste of tea is not only doubled, but trebled !!
