Humour in every day life UBC day 3

"From here to there, there to there, humor is everywhere."  Dr Seuss
The above mentioned quote is true for everyone, every where and every time, whether day or night.
Humor is a part of every house. Without humor life will be dull and drab. I am narrating some humorous situations which I have faced. Hope you will find them interesting.
1. We had a pet dog, Elsa. She was a Labrador. She was so lovable. Every member of the house was fond of her. She was very docile.  One day a guest came to our house. His wife and a little child also came with him. The child had a small toy car, with which he was playing.  Elsa became very  curious and was eyeing the car. Suddenly, when the baby pushed the car, it went to the opposite wall. Elsa ran and put the car in her mouth.  The child also ran and found the car in Elsa's mouth. The child reacted and bit Elsa hard on her head. Blood started coming from Elsa's head.  Immediately she kept the car on the floor. Instead of getting  wild or  biting the child, Elsa  was fearful and tried to hide behind my feet. Every one was watching this scene with interest and started laughing at Elsa's reaction.

2.I was studying in M.A. One day a friend of mine borrowed a book from me. She told me that the next day, she would not be attending college and would send the book back through her brother. Next day, I waited for her brother. It was the last period. Her brother did not contact me. I found about five or six boys standing just outside the class. One of them was a sardar. My friend was a sardar. I guessed, that boy must be her brother. I just went there and without any introduction addressed him and asked him," Please give my book. Raminder must have given it to you." The boy looked stunned. He said that he did not know any Raminder. Oh God! I felt extremely embarrassed and hurried back to the class.
3.It was the week of Diwali. There were several fruits, nuts, and sweets in the house. At night some robbers entered the living room of our house, after cutting the iron grill and removing the glass window pane. They tried to enter  the bedrooms, but all the three bedrooms were securely bolted from inside. They must have felt disgusted. What they did is so funny and unheard of. They  made themselves comfortable on the sofas and gobbled up nuts, fruits and sweets. The remnants were thrown all over the place. In the morning when we came to the living room, we were more amused than  fearful after seeing the empty  sweet boxes, chocolate covers etc.on the sofas, table and the floor.

  14. The first one I actually find sad with blood oozing from your dog, albeit your dog didn't seem to react like a dog at that point! Probably so shocked that he was stunned! I suppose that might be funny. ;) The last is rather amusing to see remnants of sweets all over! ;) <3
