                                pity the  kids squeezed in
                                       like guinea pigs.

  2. What are they trying to experiment with those children!! They are best walked alone to school :) as startled guinea pigs (children) will "stampede", running in haphazard directions!! ;)

  3. I know, my children hated school buses, they preferred walking to school, but such things are possible only if one lives near to school, for others it is really sad. Nice Haiku.

  8. Usha, your haiku gave me an amusing mental image of guinea pigs in a school bus driven by a guinea pig bus driver. :)

  9. Well where I live...I see about 10 school buses halting outside the society...very decent and well managed... lucky children..wish if the same standards could be forced everywhere...

A nice haiku which brings forth an issue which needs attention..

  14. Say what you want, it made me laugh.

The memories of squeezing in with friends in the school bus was fun. In winters, that is.

In summers, well, it was another story.
