Down memory lane
 In
the journey of my life I have experienced many ups and downs. It is human
nature that we tend to forget sorrows and afflictions  that we have faced  in our lives. Memories  of joyful incidents always remain fresh in
our mind. These are  eternal milestones  There have been several  moments of delight  in my life which  occurred
in the past, which are now etched
under layers  and layers of
memories  but fly up zooming    on the top as if they occurred   in the recent past. I have sweet memories of
my school and college days. I cannot forget the day  when I was appointed and rose up on the
ladder of success. The memories of courtship days and the day  I married
the man of my dreams are very precious. The moments of pleasure  when I became a mother are unforgettable.  The days when my children got married were
gratifying and an occasion for elation  and satisfaction. By the Grace of God I have
been fortunate to cross these milestones
and always feel  delighted.
The most important event which
completely  took me to seventh Heaven and
the minutest details are ever fresh in my heart was the moment when I became a
Grand Mother.  It was a moment of rejoicing,
feeling elated and delighted. Grand mother, wow, I never  even in my wildest thoughts   saw myself as a GRAND MOTHER!! It was true!!
A little baby girl. A sweet angel, and a cute fairy had come from the fairy land  to live with
us . It was a  first experience for all
of us. My son and daughter-in-law had become
parents: me and my hubby became Grand parents.  It was a moment of indulging in gaiety and
happiness.  The first look at her made me
so  emotional that tears of inner joy
came out!
After she came home ,we just wanted to
admire her expression  day in and day
out.  As she grew  each action
of  hers made me thrilled. Her first
smile, her crying for milk and her wetting me aroused a feeling which cannot be
explained in words. Every stage of her growing up like crawling, standing, her
first steps  and lisping appear to have
taken place recently. Her little steps and narrating  nursery rhymes  enthusiastically will always be fresh in
memory. She won the heart of everyone who saw her.
Today this innocent doll has grown into a
young  girl, full of confidence, who can
take care of me and stand on her own with self confidence and
determination  and immense will power.
God bless you dear Rajita. Your grand mum’s best wishes are with you .
