All that is there

Today's Haiku is a tribute in the memory of Dutch people who died  recent Malayasian  Air Craft, after it was shot down.

                              Two minutes ago

                   they laughed and giggled aloud,

                                now deadly silent.

                                   Left their homes

                      to come back home certainly

                                 knew not death.

                        Lonely is home,

               Soaked in silence of death

                     Tears  don't stop.

                      All that is there

          Happy memories of bygone days,

                     prayer  to   God.

  1. It is a great tragedy. That people set out from home on a trip. Or were returning home from a trip, and were so ruthlessly cut down for no fault of theirs.

We need to pray for world peace.

Remember in mid 80s a AI 747crashed in Bombay seas? It was Capt Kukkar in command,a friend whom I had only an evening before .

  5. It seems we as humans are always recovering from some loss - from the marvels of those things which we have made to make our lives easier...

In the States we are still mourning the tragedy of all the loss from "911" -

Thank you for your visit, your kind words and your own wonderful tribute.
