My dear daughter

NOTE This article was published  9/15/15. Coincidentally it is my daughter's  51st  birthday today. I present this gift of love to her.

This is the doll house of our daughter, when she was a baby. She  loved this house. She had named the doll, Choti. She had made many dresses for her. In a motherly affectionate manner she used to dress her up and cooked food for her. At night she used to sing a lullaby  for her Choti.  The house was painted every week. Choti's marriage was conducted with great pomp and show, with her friend's doll. Instead of one, she had two, to look after. When Jyoti, our daughter, got married her dolls were very sad. She gave the doll couple to her friend. We still adore her  doll house.
Our doll, our sweet little daughter is now a responsible Doctor. By nature she is very soft spoken and considerate. Her patients love her. Her Doctor husband and she make a perfect couple. He is like a son  for us.  She looks after her household very efficiently. She has brought up her children to be very  obedient and well mannered. In our old age , I and my husband look up to them for all her ailments. I am reminded of a quotation. ''Her smile makes us smile. Her laugh is infectious. Her heart is pure and true . Above all we love her. This  is our daughter.'' As she played and loved her doll,  we cherish and love our doll.
