  Life  is full of challenges. Every second person is suffering from high blood pressure or tension related  diseases. If we do not make any conscious  effort  to remain tension free, we are doing a great harm  to ourselves.If this trend is not  controlled, it will  affect  our efficiency and the whole country may be adversely affected. Here is a list of 26 ways to get rid of stress and lead a life without worries, which cause tension.

1  Always take time for yourself, at least 30 minutes everyday.

2.Be aware  of your own stress meter.Know when to step back and cool  down.

3.Concentrate on controlling yourself, instead trying to control others.

4. Daily exercise is very important to keep our mind fresh and not to accumulate worries about petty things.

5. Eat your food in time. Don't skip breakfast. sleep with a light stomach.

6.Forgive others, don't grow grudges against others, and be tolerant. Every body is not  as capable as you.

7.Gain perspective of things. All issues may not be so important to brood  upon.

8. Hugs, kisses and laughter in a family are important. Have fun and don't  be afraid to share your feelings with others.

9. Identify what causes stress and plan to have a control on the situation next time.

10.  Judge your own performance realistically.Don't set for goals out of your  own reach.

11. Keep a positive attitude, it will influence others and the way they treat you.

12.Limit alchohol, drugs, and  other  stimulants. They affect your  perception.

13. Manage money well,and save at least  some money for difficult times.

14.No is a word you need to learn to use  without feeling guilty.

15.Outdoor activities with friends  or family  is a great way to relax.

16.Play your favorite music.

17. Quit smoking. It is very stressing.

18.Relationships: nurture  and enjoy them.

19.  Sleep well on a firm mattress. Allow good ventilation

20. Treat yourself occassionally by going out for a movie, or dinner .

21.Understand things from the other person's view.

22.Verify information from the source before exploding.

23. Worry less. It   cannot  get things improve .

24.  Xpress:   Make a regular visit to your favorite spot. Take a holiday from  from work once a year.

25.Yearly goal   setting: Plan what you want to achieve, based on your  career and relationships.

26.Zest for Life:  Each day is a gift. Smile and be thankful to God  for all His mercies.
